Meet Anna

Anna was rescued with her mama, Joy, and her sister, Avery, after the little family was spotted wandering along one of Kern County's busiest highways. The fast moving traffic made every second dangerous.

Thankfully, a caring woman stopped to help, and one of the A & K dads joined the rescue. Together, they safely brought the frightened little family to A & K Animal Rescue.

Once she was safe, Anna could finally do what puppies do best: play, explore, and grow without fear.

Her journey began beside a busy highway, but it ended with safety, love, and the promise of a forever family.

Sometimes the smallest lives remind us how much one act of kindness can matter.
