Athena
Adopted
Athena’s story started in the middle of nowhere. Our dad, who is a farmer, found a tiny litter of puppies, just furballs in the dirt, with no mom in sight. He checked on them every single day to see if their mother would come back, but it became clear—they were completely alone.
Rescuing them wasn’t easy. These little pups were terrified and tried to act tough, even though they were just tiny babies. So, our dad teamed up with another farmer to carefully trap and rescue them. All seven made it safely to A & K Animal Rescue!
Athena was one of only two girls, and we knew right away—she was meant to stay with us forever. We gave the whole litter Greek-inspired names, and today, Athena still lives with her brothers Thaddeus and Octavius, while the rest of the litter found amazing forever homes.
Athena may have started life in the wild, but now she’s a happy, spoiled, and very loved member of our pack.
Go check out Thaddeus and Octavius’ bios to read about their adventures too!
