Meet Dozer

Dozer was found wandering through a neighborhood by a kind woman who refused to give up on him. For weeks, she walked him around the neighborhood, posted flyers, and shared his photo on local lost and found pages, hoping someone would recognize him.

Dozer was a big, chunky boy and already fixed. It seemed clear that at some point, he had belonged to someone.

But no one ever came for him.

The woman who found Dozer wanted desperately to keep him, but her elderly dog struggled with such a big change. Loving Dozer meant finding him the right place to go, and that's when she contacted A & K Animal Rescue.

Dozer came to stay with us while we searched for the perfect family.

And we found them!

Today, Dozer is living his best life with an incredible family and even has a doggy sister to share his adventures with.

From wandering alone to finally being chosen.
