Coco was one of Queen Easter’s five beautiful kittens — but what made her truly stand out was her entirely black coat, not a single patch of any other color. She was sleek, stunning, and honestly magical.

But here’s something many people don’t realize: only about 1 in 22 cats are completely black, making Coco incredibly rare.

Because of superstitions, outdated myths, and sadly, real concerns around Halloween, we were extremely cautious about finding the right home for her. We had several people inquire, but none of them felt like the perfect match. And when it comes to black cats — especially around Halloween — we don’t take chances.

So we made the decision that felt right in our hearts: Coco would stay with us.

She now lives safely and happily alongside her mama Queen Easter and her sister Ginger, soaking in sunbeams, climbing everything in sight, and reminding us daily that superstition has nothing on sweetness.

Coco is not only safe — she’s forever loved.
