Chad and Gizmo are our two lovable rescue sheep who found their forever home at A & K Animal Rescue after retiring from the livestock show world. Their kind-hearted former owners didn’t want them to go to slaughter — which is, sadly, a common fate for animals after showing — so they acted fast to save their lives and brought them to us.

Since arriving, Chad and Gizmo have completely settled in. They love roaming the hills, hanging with the rest of the fur family, and enjoying fresh water, cozy bedding, and tons of attention. One of our favorite memories was walking them—one at a time—down to their new enclosure. Gizmo went first, but immediately started calling for Chad. The second they were reunited, they were back to being best buddies like nothing had happened!

These two are gentle, goofy, and totally part of the family now.
