Meet Golden

Golden came to A & K Animal Rescue with her 10 tiny puppies through our local shelter's foster program. She had a big job ahead of her, and we were happy to give this little family a safe place to call home.

Golden stayed with us for quite a while as her puppies grew. We watched 10 tiny babies become sweet, healthy, and brave little puppies, each with a personality of their own.

Once they were old enough, Golden and her puppies returned to the shelter to be fixed and begin finding their forever families.

Sometimes A & K gets to be the bridge. We may not be the beginning of their story or their forever home, but we can be the safe place in between.

We were so happy to be that place for Golden and her 10 babies.

Puppy names: Nugget, Honey, Sunny, Goldie, Penny, Maple, Butters, Amber, Biscuit, and Treasure.

I think Golden and her little Nuggets is also a really cute way to refer to the litter!
