Meet Goldie

Goldie came to A & K Animal Rescue with Mama Golden and nine brothers and sisters through our local shelter's foster program.

Goldie was just a tiny puppy when the family arrived. The days were spent snuggled with siblings, following Mama, eating, sleeping, playing, and growing bigger and braver every day.

The litter stayed at A & K while Golden raised her babies. We lovingly called them Golden's Little Nuggets, and all 10 grew into sweet, healthy puppies with personalities of their own.

Once Goldie was old enough, it was time to return to the shelter to be fixed and begin the journey toward a forever family.

Sometimes A & K gets to be the bridge. For Goldie, we were the safe place to grow, play, and simply be a puppy until the next chapter began.
