Dog

Hope

Adopted

Hope was born into heartbreak. When our local shelter contacted us about a mama dog and her litter of eight puppies, they warned us: one of the pups had serious medical concerns. Her back legs had never worked, and they feared the worst. In fact, they told us that if her condition didn’t improve, humane euthanasia might be her only option.

But the moment we met her, we knew her name had to be Hope.

She was tiny, fragile, and couldn’t stand — but her spirit was strong. We began daily therapy, around-the-clock care, and lots of encouragement. Slowly, Hope began to show signs of improvement. First, she started dragging herself to her food. Then she stood. Then — she walked!

Today, Hope can run and play with the pack. She definitely has back leg challenges and tires out faster than the others, but she never stops trying. And she never stops smiling.

She is the family favorite, with a gentle heart and a silly side that makes everyone laugh. She even gets special privileges… like sleeping inside on cozy blankets.

We decided to adopt both Hope and her mama, Eve, so they could stay together forever. After everything they’ve been through, they deserve the best life — and now, they have it.
