Pancakes

Pancakes' rescue began because of Professor Pickles.

The same day we rescued Professor Pickles, a friend heard his story and told us her daughter had always dreamed of having a hamster, but she was hoping for a girl. So we went right back and rescued another little hamster.

The very next day was her birthday.

We surprised her with her new furry friend, and she immediately started crying happy tears. She named her Pancakes, and from that moment on, the two have been inseparable.

Today, Pancakes lives in her very own bedroom, where she loves running on her exercise wheel, digging through her bedding, and keeping her new family company every day.

Pancakes reminds us that sometimes the best birthday gifts aren't things you can buy. They're lives that get a second chance.
