Before our parents even met, our mom was praying for her future husband. Her best friend told her to make a very specific list of what she wanted, because as it says in (insert scripture here), we should bring our desires to God with clear and faithful prayers.

So, she did. And she got detailed! One small but special request? She wanted him to have a puppy.

A year later, she met our dad, and he checked off every single thing on her list—except for the puppy. But God wasn’t done showing her that he was the one.

Shortly after they started dating, our dad found a tiny, abandoned puppy in a field. He brought her home, and just like that, Roxy became the first official rescue of A & K. ❤️

Now, at 14 years old, Roxy is the eldest Queen of the pack and the one who started it all. She’s living proof that prayers work, timing is perfect, and sometimes, miracles have four paws.
