Meet Sarah

Sarah came to A & K Animal Rescue when someone needed a safe place for her to stay for just a few days while searching for her new home.

This sweet Catahoula mix was full of energy and personality. And when we say energy, we mean ENERGY! She was playful, hyper, sweet, and always ready for her next adventure.

Sarah was only with us for a few days, but that is what rescue looks like sometimes. Not every animal stays for weeks or months. Sometimes they just need a safe place to land while the next part of their story comes together.

It wasn't long before Sarah found someone ready to give her a home. We were happy to be one small stop on her journey from lost to loved.
