Savannah came to A & K Animal Rescue with her friend Nicholas from our local animal shelter. Both of them were struggling with serious problems with their eyes. Savannah had a severe eye infection that needed treatment and time to heal.

We brought them home and started their rehabilitation. Thankfully, Savannah responded beautifully to treatment. Today, you would never know how bad her eyes once were. They are clear, healthy, and beautiful.

And then there is Savannah's personality.

We started calling her Savannah Banana, and she is one of the biggest cuddle bugs at A & K. She absolutely loves being close to people and will happily flop into your arms and make herself comfortable. She isn't a Ragdoll, at least not that we know of, but her soft coat, relaxed personality, and adorably floppy way of being held sometimes make us wonder if there might be a little Ragdoll somewhere in her family tree.

Savannah Banana is now a happy, healthy indoor and outdoor kitty who spends her days exploring, relaxing, and getting as many cuddles as she possibly can.

She came to us needing help to heal. Now she gets to spend the rest of her life simply being loved.
